Attending A Biblically Sound Church Is Important

As Christians, It is important that we attend a Biblically sound church. There is a difference between the global Church and the local Church. The global Church is the one big Church that every Christian is a part of, while on the other hand, the local Church is a group of Christians who fellowship together. Hebrews 10:25 proves that we should not forsake the gathering of fellow believers. A church can take place in a building, at home, on the beach, in a park, in a field, in your backyard, on your front porch, in the woods, etc. The number of people in a local church could have 5 people, or 20 people, or 50 people, or 100 people, etc. Since it does not matter how many people are in the local church as long as there are people there.

Test Preaching With Scripture

When the preacher is preaching, you should test their preaching with scripture. 1 John 4:1 says that we need to test the spirits, and Matthew 7:15 warns against false teachers. When we listen to preaching, we need to test their preaching with scripture to make sure that their preaching is biblically sound, and we should make sure that they’re not preaching another gospel. Galatians 1:6-9 warns against a different gospel.

What If There Are No Biblically Sound Churches In My Area?

If that is the unfortunate case, or if you are concerned about many of the churches being laden with heresy, then you can do a Home Church in your home, or you can have Church in a park, or on a beach, or in the woods, or in any convenient place. Then after making one of these decisions, you can find a man who is mature in Christ to be the pastor of the Church that will take place at home or in a park, on the beach, in the woods, or in any convenient place. The pastor has to be a man who is mature in Christ because 1 Timothy 2:12, 1 Timothy 3:1-5, and 1 Corinthians 14:34 make it very clear that women cannot be pastors, and 1 Timothy 3:6 says that a pastor must not be a new convert. If you are a pastor, then you must bring the congregation biblically sound preaching, since biblically sound preaching will have a biblical impact on people’s lives. James 3:1 says that Preachers of the word will be judged more strictly, and this is talking about the people who consistently preach the word of God, like pastors, online preachers, ministers, etc. Because of this, false teachers who die in their sins will have a greater condemnation along with the apostates who died in their unrepentant state. Pastors must put together the sermon for the Church and then test the sermon with scripture to make sure it’s biblically sound.
