Is Masturbation A Sin?

The answer to this question is yes. Masturbation is a sin because masturbation is lustful. Matthew 5:27-28 says that if you look at a woman to lust, then you commit adultery in your heart. What Matthew 5:27-28 means is that if you look at a person of the opposite gender to lust, then you commit adultery in your heart, this means that if a man looks at a woman to lust, then he commits adultery with her in his heart, and if a woman looks at a man to lust, then she commits adultery with him in her heart. The sin of masturbation is a sexual sin, and the sin of masturbation is even worse if it is linked to pornography.

Selfish Sin

Masturbation is a selfish sexual sin, and if someone masturbates, then that person defiles themself. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we should not defile our bodies, and masturbation defiles the body because masturbation is a sin. This is a true fact that every Christian should learn. Since masturbation is a sexual sin, if someone commits that sin, then they sin against their own body, and 1 Corinthians 6:18 says that anyone who commits sexual sin sins against their own body.

Lust Is wrong

The sin of lust is definitely wrong. We all must let go of lust, and all other sins, since we must repent of our sins. Women are just as guilty of sexual sin as men are. Lust is a selfish sin since that sin only focuses on self and never on others. The sin of masturbation also only focuses on self and never on others, thus making masturbation a selfish sexual sin. Sexual sin is a violation of the 7th Commandment, and some infamous examples of sexual sin are fornication, adultery, masturbation, pornography, looking to lust, etc.

Sexual Sin Destroys Relationships

There are a heck ton of relationships that were destroyed because of sexual sin. Masturbation could also destroy relationships as well, since masturbation is a sexual sin, and there are absolutely no excuses for masturbation and all other sexual sins. All sexual sins are blatantly selfish because those sins only focus on self and never on others.

Conclusion

In conclusion, masturbation is a sexual sin that is selfish, and that sin is selfish since the sin of masturbation only focuses on self and never on others. All sexual sins are blatantly selfish, and sexual sins have destroyed a heck ton of relationships. Sexual sins defile the body, and we should not defile the body at all. Sexual sins also hurt people’s feelings and grieve the Lord. There are absolutely no excuses for sexual sins at all.
